Tuzigoot as seen from the banks of the Verde River

Tuzigoot National Monument is 52 miles south of Flagstaff, Arizona via U.S. Highway 89A, or 90 miles north of Phoenix.

From I-17, take exit 287 for Highway 260 West to Cottonwood. At the juntion with 89A, turn left. Continue all the way through the town of Cottonwood on 89A. Once you pass through Old Town Cottonwood, you will see a sign telling you where to turn for Tuzigoot Road. Tuzigoot National Monument is located at the end of this road.
