Trail Etiquette

Hikers, joggers, leashed pets, bicyclists, and equestrians are permitted on our trails

• Please stay on the designated route, following trail signage.
• Dogs must be on a leash no longer than six feet long (36 CFR § 2.15)
• Respect wildlife while enjoying the trail by keeping your distance and carrying out all trash, pet waste, and food waste (fruit peels, pits, shells, etc.).
• Photographs and memories make the best souvenirs- the collection of rocks, fossils, soil, plants, artifacts, or any resources are prohibited.
• Know your right of way: Bicyclists should yield to both hikers and horses; Hikers should yield to horses.

Durango Loop Trail

The Durango Loop Trail offers scenic views of the Las Vegas and Sheep Ranges, as well as the Spring Mountains. On this trail, you will pass through Ice Age badlands as you experience the modern Mojave Desert landscape. This trail features a self-guided tour.

Aliante Loop Trail

While the Aliante Loop trail offers year-round scenic views of Mojave Desert scrub habitat and the Las Vegas Range, wildflower blooms in spring and summer are a sight to see.
