This small site commemorates the battle of Tupelo and the individuals who lost their lives in the battle.

Tupelo National Battlefield Site is a one-acre commemorative site located along Main Street in Tupelo, Mississippi. The battlefield site is open from sunrise to sunset every day. There are no visitor facilities at the battlefield; you may consider visiting the Natchez Trace Parkway Visitor Center located along the Parkway at Milepost 266 near the intersection of Highway 145 (Gloster St.) and the Parkway. The Visitor Center has literature and information about the battle. For more information, or to receive a brochure about the battle, call the Visitor Center at 800-305-7417.

You may also consider visiting the other interpretive sites which help tell the story of the battle of Tupelo. To learn more about these sites and the Battle of Tupelo, you may visit the Mississippi's Final Stands Interpretive Center.
