Ranger in the Classroom

This program is designed to help teachers in schools near Tule Lake National Monument provide more information about the history of Tule Lake National Monument by inviting a ranger to speak to the class. The topics that rangers cover in their classroom presentations depend on the teacher's requests, but primarily focuses on the incarceration of Japanese Americans during WWII, and the Civilian Conservation Corps. When making your request, please let us know what topic(s) you would like us to cover and how much background knowledge your students have the subject.
