After much anticipation, Timpanogos Cave National Monument is thrilled to announce the reopening of our cave tours for summer 2024. Starting June 14, 2024, adventurers of all ages will once again have the opportunity to delve into the mesmerizing depths of Timpanogos Cave National Monument.
Cave tours and trail at Timpanogos Cave National Monument will begin June 16, 2023.
The necessary repairs to the trail and safety structures have been completed and visitors will be able to start hiking to the caves this weekend.
Timpanogos Cave National Monument is excited to announce opening for cave tours for 2023. Due to unprecedented snow in Utah and the resulting damage to the trail, cave tours will begin tentatively on May 31th to allow park staff more time to clear snow and repair the trail. Tickets are available for purchase up to 30 days in advance starting May 14th. The visitor center will be open May 17th.
National Park Service Regional Director Mike Reynolds announced the selection of Brandon Flint as the superintendent for a group of three parks in Wyoming and Utah. The park group includes Golden Spike National Historical Park, Fossil Butte National Monument and Timpanogos Cave National Monument.

Due to the cold, dark nature of the cave environment, masks will required covering both mouth and nose throughout the cave tour, as well as in the Visitor Center and in congestion areas near restrooms, the cave entrance waiting area and the tour exit.
