Theodore Roosevelt Birthplace National Historic Site is open year-round, Wednesday through Sunday, and is located in Manhattan's Gramercy Park district. Admission to the site is free. Please note that visitors must be on a guided tour to see the upstairs portion of the house. Visitors are welcome to view the self-guided exhibit galleries containing Roosevelt artifacts and historical information on the lower floor. A Junior Ranger Program is available. The on-site bookstore offers Roosevelt memorabilia and publications for purchase. Pets and emotional support animals are not permitted indoors. Service animals as defined by the ADA are the only allowable exception.
