Be a Valley Forge Junior Ranger

Get Your Activity Book
Pick up a copy of the Junior Ranger Activity Booklet from a ranger at the visitor center. The Visitor Center at Valley Forge is open every day from 9 AM to 5 PM (closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's days).

Earn Your Badge
Follow the instructions in the book, complete the required number of activities (many of them can only be done during a visit to the park), then speak to a ranger at the visitor center to receive your official Valley Forge Junior Ranger Badge!
A combination of written pages in the activity book and in-park activities.
Designed for kids aged 7 -12, but open to all.
Dogs are allowed to be on most park trails, but not inside the visitor center.

There are no fees at Valley Forge!
The park is open every day from 7 AM to 30 mintues after sunset.
The Visitor Center at Valley Forge and the museum exhibit is open daily, 9 AM to 5 PM. Closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's days.
Accessible parking areas and trails are available throughout the park. Please refer to the park brochure map or speak to a park ranger for more detailed information.
