Improve Your Physical Wellness
Even the smallest of movements can have a great impact on your personal wellness. The National Park Service Wellness Challenge offers you many opportunities to move. We welcome you to get out, explore, start a new habit, or try something new to benefit your physical health.
Challenge 2: Reach New Elevations
Get your body moving on miles of hiking trails and paths on the Slough Trail (1.2 miles), Round Spring Loop (3.0 miles), and Alley Overlook Trail (1.3 miles) and more! You can choose to walk or roll for a short period of time or journey for many miles. Reach new elevations in the Ozark Mountains and enjoy the view.

The Headquarters Visitor Information Center has accessible parking, restrooms, and water fountains.

The park brochure is available in text and audio formats and is audio described on the park website and on the UniD App.

Reach New Elevations:
Slough Trail (1.2 miles) at Big Spring, the access trail to the spring at Big Spring, and the trail to the Round Spring are level with gravel surfaces. There is accessible parking.
