Thing to Do
Los Alamos: See a Play at the Los Alamos Little Theater

NPS
The Los Alamos Little Theatre presented its first seven productions during World War II, including Arsenic and Old Lace, which featured the play’s director J. Robert Oppenheimer, Director of the Los Alamos Laboratory during the Manhattan Project, in a non-speaking role. This building started as a wartime cafeteria. Today it is the home of the Los Alamos Little Theater community group, which was founded during the Manhattan Project. This group of community entertainers still put on shows to this day. If you enjoy the magic of the stage, visit the Los Alamos Little Theatre website for more information about their schedule and history.
