Activities such as traditional pottery-making are self-paced and may be done in as few as 15 minutes. More formal, scheduled programs average approximately one hour.

A variety of indoor programs throughout the spring - fall seasons often hands-on activities for kids. These may include opportunities to make traditional pottery and ledger art, or wildlife programs that allow kids to touch animals such as lizards and turtles.

The majority of events do not require a reservation. Some, such as those in the theater with limited seating, may require an RSVP. The events listed on the calendar and our Facebook page will specify whether an RSVP is required.

Indoor programs occur during Visitor Center's operating hours (8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.).
Accessibility Information
All areas of the building are accessible by wheelchair. The Monument has a limited supply of complimentary wheelchairs for anyone requiring mobility assistance.
