Hike the Hammock Trail
The Hammock Trail at Fort Caroline is a 1.4 mile loop trail through a forest of oaks, pine trees, palmetto and Spanish moss, that features a river view and is good for all skill levels. A popular hiking spot with locals, this trail offers some elevation, easy parking, and great bird watching possibilities. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
