Picnic at Jordan Pond

Will Newton/Friends of Acadia
Jordan Pond is one of the park's most pristine lakes, with outstanding surrounding mountain scenery. Its landscape has become iconic—attracting multitudes of visitors for over a century.
Bring your picnic to the lawn and enjoy lunch with a view, or head into the historic Jordan Pond House. The only restaurant in the park, Jordan Pond House has been a popular spot for tea and popovers for over a hundred years.
This hub on Park Loop Road also connects a variety of hiking trails and carriage roads, as well as offering canoeing and kayaking. Come relax on the lawn, explore historic buildings, or visit the park store.
