They will be given a sheet with GPS coordinates on it, and then will go to that location and sketch what they find at that coordinate. After they find the coordinates the students will view a powerpoint on some of the plants and trees on the trail. The students will learn about plants in the park area and how American Indians used them.

In early June 1942, America had cause for jubilation and despair. The war news told of coordinated attacks by the Japanese on Midway and the Aleutian islands. At the Battle of Midway, American planes sunk four Japanese aircraft carriers and destroyed or hundreds of planes. But in the Aleutians, the Japanese bombing had been successful, and they occupied the islands of Attu, Agattu, and Kiska.

This program explorers what life was like for the "Corps of Discovery" at Fort Clatsop in 1805-06. Groups of 20 students rotate through 30-minute activity sessions coordinated by the park staff: Visitor Center "Exhibit Seek and Find," "Nature Walk" and an interactive interpretive program with a ranger in buckskin at the fort. Concludes with a Flintlock Muzzle Loading Rifle or Musket program.
