Essential Question

How was the musket used during the Revolutionary War, and how did soldiers make musket cartridges?

Objective

We will learn about the types of weapons used during the American Revolution. We will learn about many different types, but our main focus is the musket. We will learn how soldiers made cartridges for the musket, and tried to keep them dry during wet weather, and in humid conditions.

Preparation

*Teacher will read the online article-Were Musket Cartridges Used During the American Revolutionary War? Yes!
*Teacher will also show the two short youtube clips about cartridge making, and weapons in the American Revolution
