Echoing the architecture of the ancient Greeks, the Old Courthouse served as the civic hub of St. Louis during the 1800s. In this program, participants will learn more about the architectural and cultural significance of the Old Courthouse and discover how it was used by local citizens and nationally recognized figures alike.
This program is geared for middle school and high school audiences and can be adjusted for adult audiences. For adult audiences, the program typically lasts around 50-60 minutes. For school groups,
Virtual programs typically last around 20-25 minutes with time for Q&A. Please be prepared to share your screen or hosting capability with the ranger so they can use any digital materials they have created. The ranger will also email the teacher any suggested activities and sujbect specific materials ahead of time. Reservations must be made at least 30 days in advance.
