Essential Question
How will rising sea levels affect St. Augustine and resources, like Castillo de San Marcos and Fort Matanzas National Monuments?
Objective
Students will be able to demonstrate knowledge of cause and effect of sea level rise by completing a cause and effect chart.

Read about Climate Change at Castillo de San Marcos and Climate Change at Fort Matanzas.
Preparation

- Prepare how the students will create their Cause/Effect Chart, e.g., on paper, tablet, poster, whiteboards, etc.

Assessment Materials
Cause and Effect ChartCreate a chart labeled with two columns: Cause and Effect. The cause column should include the reasons or the "why" sea level rise is happening. The effect column should include the results or the "what" is happening due to sea level rise.
