Students will discover geology in simple, tangible ways as park rangers tell the geologic story of the Teton Range. A variety of demonstrations and maps will be used to illustrate geologic processes, including the rock cycle, mountain formation, and erosion. Park rangers lead students on a hike, taking the information discussed inside the classroom and applying it to real life examples of rocks, mountain building, and erosion. This program lasts between 3-4 hours.
