Rangers in the Classroom
Bring the park to you with our Rangers in the Classroom programs! Our Park Rangers are equip with interactive activities that were designed to meet Louisiana Believes learning standards!
These fun, educational, and interactive programs can be customized to meet the needs of individual classrooms. Programs are presented to one classroom at a time to provide an opportunity for students to ask questions and participate in hands-on activities.
Multiple teachers or classrooms may request programs on the same day, and each teacher or grade level may request different topics. This allows your school to get the most out of the day(s) that a ranger is able to visit your school.
Duration
Programs can range from 15-45 minutes depending on selected activities.

All Cane River Creole NHP school programs are free and requests are taken in the order in which they are received. You may make your request at any time.
