Various groups of people have lived in Ohio over time including prehistoric and historic American Indians, migrating settlers and immigrants. Interactions among these groups have resulted in both cooperation and conflict.

Discover the culture of prehistoric Native Americans who once inhabited this region. Learn about their daily life by examining artifacts, practicing your hunting skills, grinding corn and sharing Native American stories. Max 60 students.

This 2-hour program takes place at the Octagon Shelter in Cuyahoga Valley National Park. During inclement weather it will take place at Cuyahoga Valley Environmental Education Center. This program can be offered throughout the school year.
