Meet the people and hear the stories of those who lived, settled, and worked in the "West" during the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. Learn about the interactions of settlers and American Indians through activities related to St. Louis during the Colonial Era (1764-early 1800s), the Lewis and Clark voyage, the fur trade, the life experiences of Plains Indians, and settlers on the trail.
This program can be catered to meet the needs of all K-12 groups interested in visiting. Reservations must be made at least 30 days in advance. Maximum group size is 30 students (one adult per 10 students). Please allow 50 minutes for this program and note that all programs begin at half past the hour.
