Lyndon B. Johnson National Historical Park is an ideal location for students of all ages to explore President Johnson's life story and legacy. Our distance learning programs cover important themes and topics related to President Johnson's experience in the Hill Country to his time as President of the United States from 1963 to 1969. Join us from your home or classroom to learn how President Johnson's legacy continues to be significant today!
In Frontier Life students will learn all about life in the Texas frontier when President Johnson's ancestors settled in the Hill Country in the late 1860s. In addition, students will reflect on the impact frontier settlement had upon different communities and its effects on the natural environment.
