Students become familiar with daily life in a Maryland home in the late 1700s and learn about Thomas Stone as a husband, father, farmer, lawyer and signer of the Declaration of Independence. Students will compare life in the 18^th century to their lives today. Students will enjoy interactive tours of the house, grounds, and Visitor Center as well as hands-on activities.
