Each year, United States Park Police officers and civilian employees experience thousands of contacts with the public. Overwhelmingly, those contacts reflect a positive image of the Department, and there may be times in which the public may wish to file a commendation.
A commendation may be sent either by letter to:

A copy of the commendation will be provided to both the employee and the employee’s immediate supervisor and will be included in the employee’s personnel file.
