Welcome!

Welcome to the Historic Preservation Fund (HPF) website, run by the State, Tribal, Local, Plans & Grants (STLPG) Division of the National Park Service. STLPG manages competitive grant programs, in addition to annual formula grants to states and tribes, through the HPF. Our competitive grants assist with a variety of historic preservation projects through partnerships with state and tribal historic preservation offices, local communities, and preservation organizations. Within this site you can find resources regarding grant eligibility information, types of projects being funded, how to apply for a grant, how to manage a grant if awarded, as well as information on our technical assistance programs.
