Impacts on Infrastructure

Fluctuations between extremes in temperature and precipitation worsened by climate change is likely to result in more frequent damage and maintenance to the structures, roads, bridges, docks, boat ramps and trails along the Star-Spangled Banner Trail. These impacts can cause delays and limit visitor access to the historic and natural wonders that make the trail special. (Source)
