Plan a Field Trip

Stones River National Battlefield preserves the site of one of the most important battles of the American Civil War. The park offers a variety of field trip options to suit the needs of teachers and their classes. Curriculum base standards for 4th through 12th grade, such as natural sciences, language arts, fine arts, as well as others can be met on field trips.

Field trips are limited to a maximum of 85 students per day and a minimum of 20 students per day. Classes or groups larger than 85 students can arrange to divide trips into two days.
