Pets are welcome on park trails. You must keep your pets on a leash that is no more than six feet long and you must pick up your pet's waste and dispose of it in a trash can. Brown bears are very active near the visitor center during parts of the year. Keeping your pet on a leash helps prevent potentially lethal conflicts between park visitors and wildlife.
