Volunteers should dress for the weather and bring their own work gloves. Rangers will be on site to organize and direct volunteers in the proper disposal of wreaths. Families who placed wreaths on specific burials are asked to arrive early to retrieve their sponsored wreaths if they wish.

Cookies and hot cocoa will be provided by Hardin County Veterans Services to all volunteers. Rain or severe weather may cancel the event. Please check the park website at www.nps.gov/shil and Facebook page at facebook.com/ShilohNMP for updates.
