Sequoia & Kings Canyon Park Atlas
This interactive atlas allows you to explore the geography of the parks. You can find a wide variety of information, including visitor facilities, wilderness regulations, and natural resources. Use the atlas to create custom maps. Start with the base topography layer; click on layer visibility to choose layers to add to your map (e.g., ranger stations, shuttle stops, overlooks); then save a digital version or print a copy to bring to the park.

Area Maps, Hiking Maps, Backcountry Trail Maps

Are you going on a short hike or ski around the Giant Forest or Grant Grove? Will you take a longer day hike? Visit the online store of our cooperating partner, the Sequoia Parks Conservancy (SPC) or purchase a map once you arrive. Some maps are also available for sale at Sequoia Parks Conservancy stores at the Foothills, Lodgepole, and Kings Canyon visitor centers, and the Giant Forest Museum.

For more detailed topographic maps for backcountry trips, please check the SPC online store, or visit the US Geological Survey's (USGS) maps website. Here, you can download 7.5 minute quadrangle maps of the parks for free, or you may purchase maps.

Campground Maps

• Foothills area campgrounds: Potwisha, and Buckeye Flat
• Mineral King area campgrounds: Atwell Mill, Cold Springs
• Lodgepole area campgrounds: Lodgepole, Dorst Creek
• Grant Grove area campgrounds: Azalea, Sunset, Crystal Springs
• Cedar Grove area campgrounds: Canyon View, Moraine, Sheep Creek, Sentinel

U.S. Forest Service Maps

Maps for sequoia groves, recreaton districts, and much more for Giant Sequoia National Monument & Sequoia National Forest can be found here.

An interactive map for the Inyo National Forest is also available. The Inyo National Forest is located on the east side of the parks and is a several hour drive from the developed areas on the west side of Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks.
