The Sandwith Orchard is a former agricultural area in our English Camp Unit filled with heirloom fruit trees which was restored by NPS professionals with the help of local volunteers. Visitors can harvest plums, pears, cherries, and apples in this orchard.

There is no food or lodging (including camping) within San Juan Island National Historical Park, but the surrounding community offers a variety of choices.

The San Juan Islands Visitors Bureau offers trip planning information for the three main ferry serviced islands.

It is recommended that you make overnight accommodations in advance, especially during the busy summer season (May-September), as rooms and campgrounds fill up fast.
