Visiting the Park

There is no fee or cost to visit the grounds, walk trails, explore the Old Orchard Museum, or park a vehicle at Sagamore Hill. The grounds, including the nature trail, beach, paths and picnic area are open daily from sunrise to sunset.

How Your Fees Help Sagamore Hill

The fees you pay when visiting Sagamore Hill make a difference and all fees directly support ongoing public interpretation and education programs at Sagamore Hill and in the local community.

Purchasing National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Passes

Effective March 1, 2025 National Parks and Federal Recreation Lands Passes are no longer available for sale or use at Sagamore Hill. We strongly recommend purchasing your passes online and by mail or when you arrive at your ultimate park destination. Passes are easy to purchase at your park destination wherever a fee is required to enter federal lands. A directory of local sales outlets in New York State where you can purchase a pass in-person is available here.
