Join us on Saturday, April 5, as we commemorate the 163rd Anniversary of the Battle of Shiloh!
Superintendent Catherine Bragaw invites you to witness history firsthand with our thrilling Civil War cannon firing demonstrations, presented by the volunteer Shiloh cannon crew. Experience the power of a 6-pounder field piece as it roars to life across the street from the park visitor center!

Each demonstration will last approximately 20-minutes and will discuss into the weapons, projectiles, and procedures used by Civil War artillery crews. And yes, you'll get to hear the cannon fire twice during each program! 🔥
