Located immediately off U.S. Highway 90 (look for the visitor center and flagpole), is the paved parking for the Amistad National Recreation Area Visitor Center. The lot has 3 designated van accessible, 15 standard, and 9 pull-through oversized vehicle / vehicle + trailer spaces. The park is credit/debit card only (no cash), including the Visitor Center and bookstore. After hours, there are park maps and site bulletins available outside the building to the left of the entrance doors. During normal business hours, Park Rangers staff the information desk to assist with questions, and restrooms are available inside Visitor Center at the back, left corner.
