Quick Facts
Location:
83 Merrimack St, Lowell, MA
On the corner of Merrimack and John streets in downtown Lowell sits the Nesmith building, an impressive three-story structure with a unique curved-corner motif. This was copied by many other places following the construction of the Nesmith building in 1844. It was owned and built by the prominent Nesmith family, who held a considerable amount of real estate in Lowell until the 1920s.
