Built in 1866, this barracks was constructed of adobe and housed two companies of soldiers which at that time consisted of 120 men. Constructed in 1867, this barracks held 3 companies or 180 men. This barracks was single level, with mess halls and kitchens being held in separate buildings behind. Foundations are all that remain of these buildings.
