The Grand Sable Lake boat launch is located on the east side of Grand Sable Lake, approximately 3 miles southwest of Grand Marais. Access is via Alger County Road H-58 and unpaved Williams Hill and Lowder Roads. The boat launch area includes a seasonal dock, picnic area, and vault toilet. Note: There is a limit of 50 horsepower (50 HP) on Grand Sable Lake.

Pets are allowed at the boat launch area and in boats on Grand Sable Lake.

During the summer, a self-serve boat cleaning station is set up at the site to clean boats before they enter and after they leave the lake. This is a non-water station, using high pressure air and tools to blow off and clean debris from boats and trailers to prevent the spread of aquatic invasive species.
