An entrance pass is not required to access Pecos National Historical Park.

Other National Park Service sites may require an entrance pass or fee. Depending on your trip plans, an interagency pass may save you money.

2024 Free Entrance Days in the National Parks

Come experience the national parks! All National Park Service sites that charge an entrance fee will offer free admission to everyone (other fees, including timed entry or reservation fees, may apply). Mark your calendar for these entrance fee-free dates:

Pecos National Historical Park, only half an hour from Santa Fe, provides access to a crossroads of cultural, natural and historical resources. Call the Visitor Center (505-757-7241) for more information or visit our plan your visit page to learn about ranger-led programs and other activities available at the park.

Note that it is no longer possible for visitors to obtain interagency passes at this park. The only location in Pecos where interagency passes may be available is at the Pecos District Ranger Station (Santa Fe National Forest), just north of the park on NM Highway 63.
