Public Lands Visitor Center

This federal interagency office is staffed by employees from the National Park Service, Bureau of Land Management, U.S National Forest Service, and by dedicated volunteers from the local community. Phones are answered Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The visitor center is closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and all federal holidays.

Road Condition Reports

Parashant National Monument and the Arizona Strip encompasses millions of acres and thousands of miles of unpaved roads. Current road reports are not comprehensive to all routes. You may be the first to come on impassible conditions that have not been reported by rangers on patrol. Always have a detailed topographic map. Always carry safety and self-rescue equipment with you. Expect to encounter adverse road conditions.
