Ranger Tours and Activities

While all ranger-led tours are publicly available in summer, the park may be able to accommodate schools or other education groups. Check the tabs below for a few common tours. For other activities in the park, visit our ranger programs page!

Alley Mill

You can visit the historic Alley Mill grounds anytime. The building itself is typically open during the summer months, from 9 am to 5 pm every day. Rangers give short, guided tours of the building, talking about local history, culture, and the impact of mills in the area. These tours are free and open to the public.

Round Spring Cave

Let park rangers take you on an adventure through the wonders beneath your feet! Big Spring

Learn about karst, springs, geology, and more at one of the largest springs in North America! Rangers occassionally lead small tours/walks around the spring in summer.

Fishing and Boating Guides

Horseback Activities

• Big Creek Trail Ride hosts a range of horseback riding services, for family, group, or personal rides.

• Cross Country Trail Ride offers large facilities in Eminence, Missouri. Popular, week-long events are held throughout the year.
