Have you ever wondered why Organ Pipe and Saguaro cacti do not grow in all the American deserts? How is the Sonoran Desert different from the others anyway? Join us one of our free interpretive programs as we share the stories about your National Monument.

Ranger Program Schedule

Ranger Programs for the 2022-2023 winter season begin December 4th, 2022 and go through the end of April, 2023. The following programs are offered daily and meet at either the back patio of the Kris Eggle Visitor Center or at the Twin Peaks Campground amphitheater. Programs may be cancelled or changed due to staffing, weather, or road conditions.

Patio Talk

Meets at the back patio of the Kris Eggle Visitor Center at 2:00 pm. 45 minutes.

Evening Program

Meets at the Twin Peaks Campground amphitheater at 7:00 pm. 45 minutes
