Cave Tours at Oregon Caves National Monument and PreserveEntrance to Oregon Caves National Monument and Preserve is free, but cave access is only available with a cave tour guide. Please Note:Some tours are reservable at Recreation.gov, but same-day tickets are also available, first come, first served. It's highly recommended to stop first at the Illinois Valley Visitor Center in Cave Junction to buy tickets. It is a 45-minute drive and walk to the cave itself from Cave Junction. Availability can change quickly, and tickets may sell out. Assure your place. For Large Groups:Discovery Cave tours are limited to 15 people per tour. For larger groups, please call ahead at 541-592-5125 so we can try to arrange back-to-back tours. Candlelight Cave TourTour Prices:
This unique 60-minute tour is offered during the summer months. The tour is moderately strenuous, and children must be 10 years or older to participate. This is for kids. It is 90-minutes long, moderately strenuous and focused on the kids in the family. It is offered mid-June through Labor Day weekend. At least one child must be in the party. This 3-hour tour offers a more challenging and strenuous experience. Guided by cavers, it takes you off the standard tour path for a deeper exploration of the cave. The tour is for adventure seekers looking to explore the back passages of the Oregon Caves. Reservations are required and can be made at Recreation.gov. This waiver supports groups learning about the monument and preserve to extend their curriculum and meet educational standards.
