Park Closures

Hurricane Ridge Road: Closed Monday-Thursday
Alert 1, Severity closure, Hurricane Ridge Road: Closed Monday-Thursday
Weather permitting, the road is scheduled to open Friday-Sunday, 9 AM-4PM, through March 31st, 2025. All vehicles traveling to the ridge in the winter, including 4-wheel drive, must carry tire chains. No potable water, or food services are available.
Hoh Rain Forest area will reopen when county road is repaired - 3/13/25

Olympic National Park will begin restoring essential services to the Hoh Rain Forest once the Upper Hoh Road, which is maintained by Jefferson County, is safe for travel. Until then, the area is closed to all traffic, including pedestrians & bicycles.
