As dam removal continues on the Elwha River, a series of six webcams have been installed at various points including the deltas at the southern ends of the Lake Aldwell and Lake Mills reservoirs, along the northern shore of each reservoir, as well as cameras directly facing the Elwha and Glines Canyon dams. While the primary purpose of the webcams is to monitor the process of sediment movement, viewers will be able to get a direct view of each dam as the removal process progresses. All six webcams can be viewed here: video-monitoring.com/construction/olympic/js.htm |
