A range of management and implementation plans are used to administer the Old Spanish National Historic Trail. These documents provide overall guidance for National Park Service administrators and their partners in the trail protection, development, and interpretation.

Comprehensive Administrative Strategy

The Bureau of Land Management and National Park Service, together with interested partners, have completed a comprehensive management administrative strategy for the Old Spanish National Historic Trail.

Old Spanish Trail Feasibility Study/Environmental Assessment

The Old Spanish Trail Feasibility Study/Environmental Assessment, completed in July 2001, preceded the designation of the Old Spanish National Historic Trail in 2002.
