Additional Trip Planning Information The 1/4-mile walking trail is a natural surface with mown grass. It is uneven and sometimes muddy in places.
Outdoor exhibits include printed text and images. The augmented virtual reality tour is accessed through a mobile device. Tour videos include narrations and captions. Lucy's Garden, behind the kiosk, provides multisensory experiences. Visitors can touch and smell the plants. Do not pick leaves or flowers. Be aware of any stinging insects and give them space. Driving is the easiest way to visit. There are no public transportation options to access the site.

A gas station and restrooms are available at the Barry Travel Plaza, 4 miles away. The plaza is by the Interstate 72 entrance, on Rodgers Street in Barry.

If you are visiting with your dog, please remember to BARK: Bag your dog's waste and take it with you. There are no trash cans on site. Always keep your dog on a leash. For the safety and comfort of all the site's visitors, dogs must be kept on a leash no longer than 6 feet. Respect wildlife. New Philadelphia is home to a variety of animals such birds, deer, and squirrels. Please keep your dog at a respectful distance from any animals you may encounter. Know where you can go. Pets are allowed in all outdoor, public areas. |
