Trail closures are marked in red and include the Plateau Point Trail and the Bright Angel Trail below Havasupai Gardens. The current detour routes connecting Havasupai Gardens with the Tonto West and Tonto East Trails are show in black. On the right, a portion of the South Kaibab Trail is shown. The South Kaibab Trail provides the primary access from the South Rim to the Colorado River, the Black Bridge, Phantom Ranch, and the North Kaibab Trail.

Description

This overview map includes the entire length of Bright Angel Trail and shows the trail closure from Havasupai Gardens down to the Colorado River, through May 14, 2025. Included in this closure: the entire length of the River Trail and the Silver Bridge. Shown in the insert of Havasupai Gardens are the detour routes to access the Tonto West and Tonto East Trails. In addition, a portion of the South Kaibab Trail is shown on the right. The South Kaibab Trail is fully open and provides access from the South Rim to the Colorado River, Phantom Ranch and the North Kaibab Trail. Bright Angel Campground remains closed through May 14, 2025 Also note: the Plateau Point Trail closure through September 30, 2025.
