What to Do -- When to Visit

At Martin Van Buren NHS, the visitor season runs from late May to the end of October. Dates vary, so please confirm before visiting.
A visit to President Van Buren's home is a must, but all sorts of opportunities are available. Plan on spending at least an hour and a half on site.
Events, trails to walk, and activities such as historical and science programs are offered throughout the visitor season.
