Bridge Closure on First Manassas Trail

News Release Date: November 6, 2023 MANASSAS, VA — Manassas National Battlefield Park will temporarily close a pedestrian bridge over Young’s Branch for needed repairs. This closure, which will affect hikers on the First Manassas loop trail, will go into effect on Tuesday, November 7, 2023. See above map for alternate routes. Please exercise caution at all stream and road crossings. 

Manassas National Battlefield Park is one of 423 national parks cared for by the National Park Service. The 5,200-acre park preserves, protects and interprets the nationally significant history of the battles of First Manassas and Second Manassas, in addition to topics of natural heritage, the Civil War, and African American history.
