Due to temporary closure of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Birth Home during renovations. Our Interpretation conducts daily Birth Home Presentations inside of the bookstore nextdoor. Please visit our calendar for our presentation schedule. The presentation is free of charge and is approximately 30 minutes long. Ranger-led presentations are free to the public and last approximately 30 minutes during which time you will learn about the life of a young Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The Martin Luther King, Jr. Birth Home presentations are free to the public and filled on a first-come, first-served basis on the day of the tour. *No advanced registration or phone reservations are accepted*. Upon arriving at the park proceed to the information desk located inside the Visitor Center to reserve your free ticket for the presentation. Once you are signed up, you are encouraged to explore other resources of the park while waiting for your presentation. Groups (school, family reunion, youth, etc.) are limited to signing up for only 3 tour times per day for a total of 45 people. After signing up a group, the group leader is responsible dividing up the group and seeing that the people arrive for their tour on time. Tips on Visiting the Birth Home
