The Museum is only accessible by guided tenement apartment tours or neighborhood walking tours and requires the purchase of the appropriate ticket. As an affiliated National Park Service site the Lower East Side Tenement Museum does not accept or sell National Park Passes, or any of the America the Beautiful—the National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Passes. The Museum offers discounts for teachers, military, neighborhood residents (10002 zip code), visitors with disabilities, members of AAM, MANY, and National Trust. 2026 Free Entrance Days in the National Parks

Come experience the national parks! All National Park Service sites that charge an entrance fee will offer free admission to everyone (other fees, including timed entry or reservation fees, may apply). Mark your calendar for these entrance fee-free dates:

Beginning in 2026, free entrance on these days will be for US citizens and residents only. Nonresidents will pay the regular entrance fee and any applicable nonresident fees.
